What You Receive
You receive more than a goat.
You also receive:
- things you need to care for your goat,
- a safe shelter to share,
- health care for your goat,
- an identification tag,
- help learning how to care for your goat,
- local support,
- and the help of four other women.
If your group cares well for the goats and works well together, money can also be added to your Daily Care Fund. The five women can use this money together when the goats need extra care.

Your female kids are yours too
When your goats have female kids, you keep them. They can have kids too, and your herd can grow.

Milk for you and your family
Your goats can give milk. You can use it at home or make cheese, butter or yoghurt. You may also sell these and keep the money you earn.

Things to care for your goat
You receive basic things to help you give your goat water, food, minerals and good daily care.

A safe shelter
You and the four other women receive a shelter to share. It helps keep your goats safe.

Health care and identification
Your first goat receives health care and an identification tag. New kids can also receive care and a tag when they are reported.

You learn how to care for your goats
You learn about food, shelter, illness, pregnancy, birth, milking and caring for young goats.

Four women to help you
You do not begin alone. The other women can help you when you are ill, away or have a problem with your goats.

Money for extra goat care
If the five women care well for the goats and work well together, money can be added to the Daily Care Fund. You decide together when this money is needed for the goats.
