What We Ask of You
We ask you to do six simple things.
Your goat is free and she belongs to you. In return, we ask you to care for her well and work together with the other four women.
You do not have to do everything alone. You can help each other, and local people can help when special goat care is needed.

Tell us what happens
Tell us when a goat is born, becomes ill or dies, and when something important happens. This helps us give the right care and keep the goat records correct.

Help each other
Meet with the other women. Help each other when needed and solve problems together.

Take care of what you receive
Look after the shelter, materials, equipment and shared money that your group receives.

Give the male kids back to the project
Male kids are sold. The money is used to buy a female goat for another woman, so she can begin too.

Help another woman begin
Together with the other women, help choose the next woman fairly. Welcome her and help her begin with her own goat.
